Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account on TeaganAI, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older and a legal parent or guardian of the child(ren) you provide information about. The service is intended for Florida residents but may be used by anyone seeking Florida special-education schools.

3. What TeaganAI does

TeaganAI is an AI-assisted school-discovery tool. We help you understand your options. We do not guarantee admission, enrollment, scholarship eligibility, or any specific educational outcome. Schools, scholarships, and public programs make their own decisions about admission and funding.

4. AI-generated content

Teagan's responses are AI-generated and may occasionally be inaccurate or outdated. Always verify specific scholarship rules, school services, and enrollment criteria directly with the source (Step Up for Students, the Florida DOE, or the school itself). Banner text on the site says “TeaganAI can make mistakes. Please double-check responses” for this reason.

5. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about yourself and your child
  • Don't misuse the service to spam, scrape, or harass schools
  • Keep your password secure and notify us of any unauthorized access
  • Comply with all applicable laws

6. Payments (school customers only)

Schools that subscribe to TeaganAI's paid plans (School Partner or Enterprise) are billed monthly via Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled. Refunds are issued at our discretion within the first 14 days of each billing period.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law, with notice when reasonably possible.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TeaganAI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is capped at fees you paid to us in the 12 months prior to the claim (or, for free users, $100).

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Disputes are resolved in the state and federal courts located in Orange County, Florida.

10. Changes

We will email all account holders at least 30 days before any material change takes effect.
